Welcome



Having established my practice in 1999, I am an experienced and B.A.C.P. Accredited counsellor, C.P.C.A.B. qualified supervisor and am on the U.K. R.C.P. register.

I work from Bathwick in central Bath.

Philosophy

I endeavour to create a safe environment in which my clients can explore their issues at a pace and in a manner that suits them.

In this process I consider myself to be a facilitator and seek to empower my clients working only on the issues they wish to dicuss. In my work with disability and long-term health isssues I work with the connection between emotional and physical well being. Recognising that it may not be possible to change the physical, I believe in working towards acceptance to hopefully limit the impact of physical illness on daily life.

In my work with addicts  I work with harm-reduction in the interim, believing that if someone gets support in this stage they can work towards the change they seek.
